Re: Dubourt et Desmarais
comme Bernadette (Desmarais) serait dcd a Ponteix (Saskatchewan) en 1956,
peut être ce décès peut vous être intéressant...
DEATH NOTICES KOURI (DUBOURT), Marguerite Claire Marguerite (Margo), born July 3, 1911 in Leroy, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 1993 in the Ponteix Hospital.
Margo leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband, Ted Kouri of Ponteix; her four stepchildren: Karen of Toronto, Katherine (Zone) and Kenneth (Jennifer), both of Edmonton, and Kolleen (Denis) of Calgary; her seven grandchildren: Kristine and David, Ntanys, Ted and Ardyce, Bennett and Matthew, loved their grandma and will miss her very much.
Margo also leaves her brother, Andre (Louise Gauvin) Dubourt of Ponteix and their children, Louis, Andree, Roland, Michel, Johanna, Leo, Denis, Bernadette, Joel, Doris, John, Marc and their spouses and children; also her sister Beatrice (Joseph) Huot of Edmonton, and their children Mary-Angela and Jo-Anne, their spouses and children.
She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sisters and brothers-in-law: Peter (Aimee) Kouri, Dorothy Chafer, Margie Reid, Lillian Gee, Patsy (Byron) Currie, Charles Kouri and Norman (Marie) Kouri, and all her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many cousins residing in the United States. Margo was a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and taught school for thirty two years in many Saskatchewan communities, mostly Ponteix and also in Raymond, Alberta.
She interrupted her teaching career to serve in the R.C.A.F. from 1942-1946, she was posted to London, England and returned to Canada in 1945. She was a gifted and giving teacher who helped and loved every child who came under her care. She was proud of all her students and enioyed their many successes and loved their visits throughout the years.
She will be remembered for her love of books and her love of trees and flowers, just as she could bring out the best in each of her students. She excelled in horticulture, she could make any plant flourish under any condition; the trees and flowers in the yard and park across from her home are a living memorial to her.
Margo was predeceased by her mother, Bernadette Desmarais Dubourt (1956) and her father, Paul Louis Dubourt (1962).
Prayer Services were held Tuesday, August 10 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 11, 1993 at 11:00 a.m. from Notre Dame of Auvergne Roman Catholic Church in Ponteix.
Rev. Father Stro-hhofer officiating, Lemieux Funeral Home was in care of arrangements.
