Merci!

Re: Salomée (Sophronie) Ward
This is a mystery:
Ward, Michel (Michel and defunct Olive Chiasson) b. Miscou, NB. nov 25 1844, B. Miscou aug 3 1845. Sponsors: Théophile Blanchard and Marie Brido.
Olive Chiasson dies between nov 25 1844 and aug 3 1845.
Then we have in Grande-Rivière, Gaspé county, Qc:
Ward, Daniel-Alexis (Marc and Louise Dupuis), b and B. GR july 17 1853. Sponsors: Pierre Dupuis and Charlotte Dupuis. Father absent
Ward, Joseph (Michel and Louise Dupuis) b. GR jan 15 1856, B. jan 16 1856. Sponsors: Philias Bertrand and Élisabeth Dupuis. Father absent.
Ward, Olive (MIchel and Louise Dupuis) b. dec 11 1857, B. jan 22 1858. Sponsors: Pierre Dupuis and Marguerite Trépanier. Father absent.
Ward, Émilie (Michel and Louise Dupuis) b. july 19 1865, B. july 23 1867. Sponsors: Johny Ward and Marie Ward.
and so on until Michel and Louise move to Miscou around 1870, they both die before 1881.
One son Michel dies in 1862 while crossing from Miscou to Port-Daniel aboard a schooner.
Who are Michel and Louise? Who are the parents?
Thanks

I apologize for not using French. I'm fluent only in English.
There is a Sarah Ward in my family tree. She married Lazare Lirette in 1870. Various Census records indicate she was born circa 1846, she was French, she was Catholic, she was from Quebec, her father was from Quebec, and her mother was from Quebec. On her death record, her place of birth is listed as "Grand River N.B.", however based on her province of birth in the 1901 census, I suspect her place of birth may actually be Grande Riviere, Quebec.
Currently I do not know who her parents were.
Janette Ward (tankmikey@aol.com), a descendant of Michael Ward told me she believes that Sarah's father is Michel Ward, and her mother is either Marie Louise Dupuis or Olive Chiassom. I have not been able to confirm this through any primary source documents.
Recently I found record of her marriage on the PANB/APNB web site.
County Council Marriage Records, 1826-1887
County Gloucester, Certificate Number 3221
Date of Marriage 1870-09-12
Groom Sirette, Lazare, Residence: Shediac
Bride Ward, Sarah, Residence: Grande Anse
Witnesses Bourke, Dosité & White, Margaret
Officiator Meloy, Michael, Title: Prêtre
The location of the marriage was surprising to me. I had spent quite a few hours reading through Shediac-area church registry microfilms, looking for their marriage.
Is there a possibility that my Sarah Ward is the girl listed as Salomee Ward in the 1861 census?
I will try to make time this summer to get to the archives in Fredericton, to see if I can find this marriage in a church register, where parents names should be listed.

This seems to be a good lead.
The name of Lazare was Liret/Lirette.
In 1891, tne New-Brunswick census indicates:
Sara was born in Québec, Canada.
On the right-hand side of that page, there are more infos on that family.
For Lazare and Sarah mariage in 1870, no indication of the parents. Might be indicated on the Shediac Church registers.
How are you related to Lazare and Sarah?
Thanks!

I've already looked in Shediac area registers, but found nothing. I hope I can find it in one of the Bathurst area registers.
